HANA is a halal-certified Dahlia flower serum created for the Thai and Malaysian Muslim market. The product originated from NIA. scientific research that identified powerful benefits in Dahlia flower extracts. After receiving funding to turn the research into a real product, the brand was named after its founder, Hana.

THE JOURNEY
Our team developed the brand from end to end — research, concept, packaging, logo, brand guidelines, marketing, social media, and outdoor media. Hana envisioned a brand that felt feminine, gentle, and rooted in natural beauty. She chose pink as the signature colour, representing both womanhood and the Dahlia flower.

A key insight was that the Dahlias come from the Hala-Bala Forest in Narathiwat,Thailand’s largest tropical rainforest. We brought this into the identity through misty forest visuals,a single Dahlia hero flower, and soft, delicate typography. The bottle label features a light gradient inspired by Dahlia petals.

Designing for an affordable mass market was the main challenge, so we refined elements and let the target audience vote on the final design.

It was a great change for our team to learn deeply about the Muslim beauty market. It was a fun, meaningful, and truly proud project for us.
