YELLOW BACKYARD is a handmade skincare brand offering body and hair care products, best known for its handcrafted soaps with unique, memorable scents. The owner, Khun Waan, is truly passionate about soap-making — she creates every-thing by hand, including the packaging, and sells at local markets and online.Many customers buy her products as thoughtful handmade gifts.
THE JOURNEY
Waan wanted the brand to feel primitive and raw, reflecting her natural ingredients and honest craftsmanship. She envisioned an artistic style inspired by ancient wall paintings, Hieroglyphic motifs, and a touch of Babylonian culture, where handmade soap is believed to have originated. We built the brandaround this story: using crude-oil inspired tones, ancient mural textures, and a hand-drawn logo of a woman bathing as the central symbol.
Designing Yellow Backyard pushed us creatively, resulting in a truly distinctive, one-of-a-kind identity.
