JOPA began with K. Kat — a passionate Pilates instructor who dreamed of creating a studio that felt warm, modern, relaxing, and private. She envisioned a space where everyone felt seen,understood, and supported. That vision became Jopa, a unique name shaped from her full name.

THE JOURNEY
K. Kat asked us for a typography-only logo that could express Pilates at first glance.No samples, no references — just trust, and full creative freedom.

We proposed five options, and the first concept stood out vividly — a logo that feels
unique, graceful, and unmistakably Pilates.

As we explored the Pilates world, we found its balance of strength, softness, and mindful flow. We brought that essence into the letters: strong lines for alignment, gentle curves for flexibility, and a custom A inspired by Kat’s signature pose. The linked letter forms reflect the slings of the Reformer machine, while the rounded O subtly mimics a Pilates ring.
