THAIPINTO is a Thai ready-to-eat food project in the UK, created by two Thai founders, K.Jing and K.True. Their shared dream is to bring authentic Thai flavors to the UK in a convenient, modern format.

The Journey
The clients wanted a logo with a playful Thai touch — a design where a pinto lunchbox is subtly hidden within the typography of the word Thaipinto. The concept needed to feel fun,Thai-inspired, but not old-fashioned. Since the products will be sold in areas popular with young people, first-jobbers, and students, the brand also needed to feel modern, energetic, and youthful.

We designed the wordmark so the “pinto” lunchbox sits between the stacked letterforms, and chose a bold orange-red palette to express heat, fun, and Thai vibrancy. We also illustrated eight Thai food ingredients — such as chili, garlic, and shallots — to use as background elements across the brand.

We created four label designs, keeping the main logo consistent while changing the background colours to match each flavor. With four menu items, each label has its own lively colour expression.
